Sunway Putra Hotel Chinese New Year Sets





Chinese New Year’s Eve dinners tend to be a sumptuous fare, with families sparing no cost and it will usually includes traditional dishes on the menu since it is the time families gather together and celebrate the start of the new Chinese year...
Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings yet another exciting food promotion in conjunction to celebrate the Chinese New Year festive season. The reunion dinner, priced at RM1188 per set for 10 diners, will be available from 8th February to 12th March 2018, with dinner starting from 6.00 pm. onwards...

Stir-fried Tiger Prawns cooked with Salted Egg Yolk 2
The reunion dinner which will be held at Coffee House, on Level 9 of the Hotel comes with the option of two different sets of Reunion Dinner (Set A or Set B), each priced at RM1188 nett per set...
The sets have been specially created and prepared by Sunway Putra Hotel’s skillful Chef Chew Keng Chai and his team... and you really have to taste it to truly appreciate it... as we did..
Stir-fried Tiger Prawns cooked with Salted Egg Yolk 3
Set A consist of  Hot and Sour Sze Chuan Seafood Soup; Roasted Crispy Chicken with Cucumber Plum Sauce; Deep Fried Red Snapper with Sweet and Sour Sauce; Stir-fried Tiger Prawns cooked with Salted Egg Yolk; Stir-Fried Broccoli with Mushroom Dumpling ;and Steamed Lotus Rice with Chicken and Yam. As for sweet endings, diners will be served with Chilled Honeydew in Rock Melon and Baked Spiral Lotus.
STEAMED SEA GAROUPA A
Whereas  Set B serves up a mouth-watering Braised Crabmeat and Seaweed Soup with Dried Scallops; Roasted crispy Chicken with Cucumber Plum Sauce; Steamed Sea Garoupa ‘Hong Kong’ Style; Stir-fried Tiger Prawns cooked with Nestum; Stir-fried ‘Nai Pak’ (Milk Cabbage) in Superior Stock, Garlic and Mushroom Dumplings; and Salted Fish and Silver Anchovies Fried Rice. The course ends with delicious desserts of Chilled Honeydew with Sago in Sea Coconut and Baked Spiral Lotus Puff.
According to Chef Chew, the highlights of the main course will be the lip-smacking main dishes;  Deep Fried Red Snapper with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Stir Fried Tiger Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk, Stir Fried Broccoli with Mushroom Dumplings and Steamed Lotus Rice with Chicken and Yam. Each set dinner, comes with a free flow of Chinese Tea....

 Chef Chew Keng Chai is the Head Chinese Chef in Chinese culinary at the Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur since 2016 and has been sharing his 16 years expertise of with his team...
Chef Chew has gained nurmerous impressive awards throughout his career such as ‘Gold Medal in Fabulous Food 1Malaysia in 2010 Smart Chef’s Cooking Competition’ for Hot Dish Award Category; Bronze Award in International Chef Cuisine Culinary Challenge in Year 2014 by Hong Kong Lee Kum Kee’.
The hotel can arrange a private dinner at one their various function rooms upon request, if you prefer privacy while dining with family members, friends or even with corporate clients. The hotel can accommodate guests in any of their spacious  function rooms scattered between Level 9 (Diamond 1, 2, 3, 4 and Meet on 9), 10 (Meet on 10) and Level 35 (Meet on 35).
The Coffee House located at Level 9 of Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers a variety of Western and Asian delicacies, both tasteful and distinctive. The restaurant is located at Level 9 of the Hotel and has a perfect setting for a truly relaxing, ambience. It can accommodate up to 300 dining guests at one time. The Restaurant serves daily buffet breakfast, a la carte for lunch and dinner (daily) and also an array of 8 ‘Chef’s Most Recommended’ set menus  (11.00 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. daily). The Coffee House regularly holds International Food promotions such as, Valentine’s Day Set Dinner, Ramadhan Buffet, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Buffet and many more.
